For kids 11-15.

The students will explore their personal creativity while experimenting with fun & creative art techniques and mediums.

- using music to create
- abstract painting & play
- zen doodling and drawing
- steampunk art

Saturdays from October 25 to November 29),  10 - 11:30 am (no class November 8)

- Cake Decorating Workshop - Adults 12+

7 - 9 pm, only $30
Special guest instructor is Liz Bradbury, baking artist

Learn:
- the basics of icing a cake
- how to do trim
- how to add writing
- tips for colour mixing

Try out all Liz's tools. Practice time available. 
Get free icing recipes.

Bring your own un-iced cake - any size, shape, flavour - make sure its frozen for the class
Bring any decorating tools you may have
FALL 2014 - DATE T.B.C.

2014 Fall Workshop - Laundry Day

For adults
This piece will be done over 2 dates, at my home in Navan:

Tuesday, July 29, 10 - 11:30 am 
AND Thursday, July 31, 10 - 11:30 am

The piece includes painting and collage work, using found objects. Students are welcome to bring fabrics to use in the picture. Bring your own canvas.

Registration Fee $45 for the 2 days.

Star Book

For adults 12+
Two-hour workshop.

The star book makes a great gift for those who are hard to buy for. Bring photographs, quotations or other ephemera to be incorporated into the book.

Decorating with Thread workshop

Full day workshop for adults 16+.

Course offered through the Canadian Bookbinding and Book Arts Guild (CBBAG).

Learn several hand stitches that can be used to decorate your papers, and incorporated in many creative ways including greeting cards, book covers, inside covers, framed, and so on.
 
Types of thread and materials used will be discussed. As well, choosing thread colours will play an important part of the workshop. Several patterns will be available for the various stitch types. Students may also bring a simple line drawing to use to decorate paper. A wide variety of paper types and colours will be provided. 

What to bring:    
scotch tape, scissors (for cutting thread), bone folder, metal ruler, cutting mat

Material fee:   $12 (for paper, thread, needles, tracing 
paper, and more)  payable to the instructor
