Lineations Series

When we take the time to look at the world around us, we can find both manmade and nature's lines: straight, twisted, imperfect, tattered, threadbare. There is beauty in these timeworn and unspoiled lines, and a need today for moments of awe and wonder. In my Lineations series, I interpret these artistic lines in my fibre art using layered fabrics and other materials, sewn, slashed, and distressed, then rebuilt by shaping, stitching, heat distressing, and embellishing.
