"Urban Rerfurbishment" - my village displayed at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum in Almonte, January/February, 2017, as part of the "Colour Unboxed" Show by the Out of the Box Fibre Artists.
Inspiration: An appreciation for architectural styles around the world led me to create this 3 dimensional village. The use of recycled and unusual materials in this piece demonstrates the environmental and innovative measures that are desired in today’s world as urban centres are renewed and refurbished.
